Police arrested a couple of Petah Tikva parents last night (Saturday to Sunday) on suspicion of physically abusing helpless minors, after their two children, aged three and four, were found wandering the street without clothes.
Petah Tikva police officers opened an investigation, upon receiving a report at Hotline 100 regarding two toddlers wandering the street in the city, naked in a manner that seemed unusually neglected.
Police located the children's residential address and on arrival they encountered a severe spectacle of unusual sanitary neglect, alongside inventions of suspected drug substances and smoking utensils in the living room.
As stated, the police arrested the parents for questioning and the children were transferred to the custody of a relative, until a profitable response is required.
The parents were arrested and after examining the findings of the investigation - the court ruled to extend the detention of the two, at this stage by two days.
