Bottle hit on the head: the police are investigating a 19-year-old

A young woman is said to have hit an eleven-year-old on the head with a beer bottle.
The police have a suspect, but the investigation is ongoing.
Geretsried – In the case of an attack on an eleven-year-old student on Karl-Lederer-Platz, there is a suspect.
"We are investigating a 19-year-old woman from Geretsried," said Lorenz Lunghamer from the Geretsried police when asked by our newspaper.
On a Sunday afternoon at the end of January, the eleven-year-old was slightly injured when a hitherto unknown person hit her on the head with a beer bottle.
Apparently, a dispute between the young woman and the girl had escalated.
The police asked for information and questioned several witnesses.
"This enabled us to identify the suspects," said Lunghamer.

The officials hoped to be able to provide physical evidence.
"We secured the bottle as a crime and had a DNA comparison carried out," reports Lunghamer.
The result was received by the inspection on Friday morning.
Contrary to expectations, it was negative.
The suspect could not be unequivocally transferred via the DNA test.
"The clerk will now evaluate the result and check what options we have now." Under certain circumstances, interrogations would be carried out again.
Lunghamer emphasizes that the 19-year-old from Geretsried is only the alleged perpetrator.
"Our job as the police is to identify incriminating and exculpatory circumstances.
It is in dubio pro reo," said the police officer.
The eleven-year-old's wound from the attack has healed well.
"Physically, she's fine so far," says Lunghamer.
But the shock is still in the girl's bones.
"You don't just put something like that away."
