The judge blamed Sheikh Muhammad bin Rashid Maktoum for the abuse • Last December, the ruler was ordered to pay Princess Haya $ 733 million

A judge in the London court ruled today (Thursday) that the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Muhammad bin Rashid al-Maktoum, is responsible for abusing his wife.

According to Judge Andrew McFarlane, the sheikh's behavior included threats, coordinating press reports, hacking into phones and other measures.

Therefore, he ruled that the Dubai ruler's behavior towards the mother of his children was considered domestic violence.

The decision is the final chord to the legal affair that has rocked the international media for the past three years.

Recall, in December 2021 the British court ordered the Dubai ruler to pay his wife a huge sum of $ 733 million as part of the couple’s divorce.

The Bloomberg News Agency reported that as part of the decision, Judge McFarlane granted Princess Haya Banat al-Hussein the sole responsibility for the health and education of her children shared with al-Maktoum.

This is despite the fact that the princess agreed to inform the sheikh of any significant decision regarding the children.

The conflict began following the couple's divorce in 2019.

Princess Haia even fled to Britain for fear for her safety and the safety of her children.

As stated, during the hearings in the divorce case it was discovered that the sheikh had ordered to break into her phone and even tried to purchase property near her residence.
