A skier died after falling from a cliff in Saint-Colomban-des-Villards (Savoie) on Saturday afternoon, rescuers said.

The 32-year-old man was ski touring when he unscrewed from the summit of Puy Gris and fell several meters, said the PGHM (High Mountain Gendarmerie Platoon) of Modane.
Warned shortly before 3:00 p.m., the emergency services found him dead on their arrival.
