Prime Minister Naftali Bennett spoke today (Sunday) with Jordanian King Abdullah II and thanked him for condemning the terrorist attacks last month.
In addition, the Prime Minister congratulated the King, his family and the Jordanian people in honor of the month of Ramadan that began yesterday.
The two also discussed the importance of cooperation between the countries and the continuation of the ongoing relationship and discourse.
Last week, President Yitzhak Herzog met with King Abdullah II of Jordan.
The Jordanian state channel also reported on the phone call between Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and King Abdullah.
The publication states that the king emphasized the importance of creating a comprehensive calm that would prevent any tension or escalation in the Palestinian territories.
