Venture investor and writer JD Vance, a Republican candidate for the US Senate from the state of Ohio, launched a political campaign inspired by the slogans of former President Donald Trump and in which he takes the same positions on illegal immigration and drug trafficking.
In a video he posted on his social media that generated hundreds of responses for and against, Vance asks his voters if they hate Mexicans.
CNN has requested comments from the Government of Mexico, without receiving a response until this Wednesday.
