The singers Camilo and Evaluna Montaner have been parents this Wednesday of a girl named Indigo.
The smallest member of the Montaner family was born in the couple's house in Miami, United States, as confirmed to this newspaper by a source close to the artists.
The news – which has not yet been officially announced by the parents – was leaked by close friends of the couple and has given joy to their millions of followers who have congratulated them on social networks.
The expectation around the birth of the singers' first child was present throughout the pregnancy because they did not want to know the sex of the baby.
The date on which the birth was planned was also not known.
The Venezuelan singer Ricardo Montaner, the little girl's grandfather, had said in a live broadcast on his social networks a few days ago that everyone was waiting for the birth of the artists' firstborn.
Evaluna's brothers, Mau & Ricky, flew from Europe to Miami a few days ago, not to miss the birth of their nephew.
The Colombian Camilo, 28, and his wife, Evaluna Montaner, 24, got married in February 2020, went on their honeymoon and shortly after the confinement began.
A confinement that they shared with her family, full of well-known singers in Latin America like her father, Ricardo Montaner.
Last October, they announced to their "tribe", as they call their followers, that they would be parents when they premiered the song Indigo, which they dedicated to their baby.
The couple decided to put their firstborn Indigo because it works equally well for a boy and a girl, as they explained.
Camilo is a Colombian artist who moves between the genres of reggaeton and pop, passing through bachata, ranchera and cumbia.
