The investigation into the incident has come to an end and the investigators recommended closing the case • Sources in the police in a conversation with "Israel Today": "Going to the genizah"

In the shadow of MK Idit Silman's resignation, police officials told Israel Today today (Wednesday) that it had finally decided to close Silman's assault file and shelve it, three months after the police's recommendation.

Now it's final:

Police sources tell Sprin that "the case is going to the genizah."

The investigation conducted in the Central District has ended, the investigators have recommended closing the case and in the coming days the recommendation and the case will reach the Investigations and Intelligence Division.

Thus, the assault saga of Idit Silman ended and ended.

Last November, Silman was interviewed on the "Meet the Press" program on Channel 12 and said that when she refueled the vehicle at one of the gas stations in Modi'in, a man approached her and pushed her.

In response, opposition Knesset members called for an investigation.

The investigative actions carried out, among other things, did not lead to the establishment of evidence or the finding of a suspect in the act. The investigation file opened following a complaint by Silman will be closed due to lack of evidence as reported last month.
