We had the opportunity to meet the new Microsoft teams. Here you can know its characteristics, prices and availability.

Although it presented them a few months ago, Microsoft brings to Mexico the Surface Pro 8 and Laptop Studio, the new devices with which they renew both their tablet for professionals and their most powerful laptop, respectively.

We had the opportunity to learn about these devices and today we will tell you about their features, prices and what each one has to offer if you are considering purchasing them.

Surface Pro 8

This 2-in-1 tablet is an ideal choice for those who need portability, but also want to carry a lightweight device in their pocket or backpack.

Last year we tested the Microsoft Surface Pro 7+ and we know that it is a device that you can easily turn into a laptop by adding a keyboard that is sold separately.

In addition, it has support for Surface Pen, with which you can get more out of the tablet mode to draw or write.

What processor do you have?

Microsoft launched it on the market with two options: Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i7.

It will have RAM options from 8 to 32 GB and storage from 128 GB to 1 TB in SSD.

The two-in-one from Microsoft features two Thunderbolt 4 ports, the latest standard for high-resolution displays and fast data transfers.

Plus, it has much slimmer bezels, so you'll enjoy a bigger screen.

In our first approach to the team, we found that Microsoft's S Pen works great for drawing and has advanced haptics that do a better job of mimicking the real feel of using pens and markers on paper than others on the market.

Surface Pro 8 is a Windows 11 computer complete with an attached keyboard, giving you access to the myriad of apps and features available.

Most creative and productivity programs are covered here, from the Microsoft Office suite to Photoshop, and Windows is designed for heavy-duty multitasking, with tools that let you easily split your screen between many apps at once.

And while the Surface Pro 8's integrated Intel graphics aren't made for heavy gaming, you'll still be able to play plenty of non-demanding Windows titles like Fortnite, Rocket League, and Minecraft.

Laptop-Studio

On the other hand, Surface Laptop Studio is the most powerful laptop from Microsoft.

According to its spokespersons, this is a device focused on creative professionals, designers, and even gamers.

Its format is that of a traditional laptop, but its screen can be repositioned for other types of work that you want to do with it.

As for the processor, you will also find it on the market with Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i7.

This computer has more storage.

It has 16 or 32 GB of RAM and its storage starts at 256 GB and goes up to 2TB in SSD.

Also, it already runs Windows 11 out of the box.

Prices

As we mentioned, both computers have different versions of storage, processor and RAM inside, but these are the prices with which they start in the market:

  • Microsoft Surface Pro 8: from MX$28,299

  • Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio: MX$41,599
