A 30-year-old man was killed as a result of a vehicle overturned near the Bilu junction

The man's death was determined after he was rescued from the vehicle with no signs of life with a head injury.

Road accident scene near Bilu junction. April 12, 2022 (MDA)

A 30-year-old man was killed last night (Tuesday) as a result of a vehicle overturning on Road 40, near the Bilu junction.

Also, a 30-year-old woman who was also in the vehicle, was shirtless when in fair condition and was evacuated to Kaplan Hospital in Rehovot suffering from bruises and consciousness.

A MDA paramedic, Shoham Ben-Zur, said that he saw the vehicle upside down on the roof.

He was out of breath and without a pulse, with a head injury.

We performed medical tests and he was without signs of life.

"With the help of a military doctor, his death was determined," he said.

Hani Vaknin, a paramedic from the rescue union who was called to the scene, explained that it was a scene of a serious car accident.

"Firefighters rescued the man from the vehicle after he was trapped, but unfortunately a military doctor pronounced him dead at the scene due to the severe injuries he suffered. We provided first aid to a lady who was moderately injured and then she was evacuated in an intensive care unit to Kaplan Hospital," she added.

Yesterday a 6-year-old boy was killed in an accident in Emanuel.

The boy was hit by a truck that left the scene of the accident after hitting him.

He was taken to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba while resuscitation operations were performed, where he was later pronounced dead.
