The head of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, stressed that the United States is putting pressure on European politicians and forcing them to do things because of which they lose their future.
Russia Today website quoted Volodin as saying today that the United States is putting pressure on European countries and politicians in these countries and forcing them to do things that have no future after them, and the biggest example of this is what it did with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
Volodin pointed out that the Kyiv authorities did not want to receive German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier earlier because of his close relations with Russia, adding that due to American pressure, the German politician changed his position and continued: “It seems pathetic and humiliating, especially when it is done by a head of state who, as It turns out that he is not independent in his decisions.”
