The first: “+31%
of intentional attacks since 2017
”.
And the second: “
1.5 million additional immigrants who have entered France legally since 2017
”.
The CNCCEP indicates that "
these are elements (that it does not manage) to corroborate
" and therefore asked Marine Le Pen to specify these figures, under penalty of seeing her profession of faith not approved.
The CNCEEP had already objected to the use of Macron's official Twitter account
For its part, the National Rally indicates that the figures come from the Ministry of the Interior.
Traveling to an SME in the Hauts-de-Seine, Marine Le Pen warned
"against this type of maneuver".
“Be careful to respect democracy
,” warned the MP.
Before the first round, the CNCCEP had already made itself known to the general public by challenging Emmanuel Macron's use of his official Twitter account to relay his "Letter to the French" announcing his candidacy.
The outgoing president had been forced to delete messages related to the campaign, and to fall back on an account specifically created by his teams.
