The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed today that the fire that broke out on the cruiser Moskva in the Black Sea has been brought under control, pointing out that its missile capabilities have not been affected, and investigations are continuing to find out the causes.
The ministry explained that the source of the ignition is internal, and there is no fire on the surface, and the crew of the cruiser has been evacuated to the ships of the Black Sea Fleet in the region, indicating that measures are taken to withdraw it to the port.
The Russian Defense announced yesterday that a fire broke out on board the Moskva missile cruiser, and that an investigation was underway to find out its causes.
