Tripoli-Sana
The Libyan National Army, led by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, announced that the terrorist organization ISIS targeted with a car bomb the patrol company camp in the Umm al-Aranib area of Murzuq governorate, southern Libya.
And local Libyan media quoted the Director of the Moral Guidance Department in the Libyan National Army, Major General Khaled al-Mahjoub, as saying in a statement that “the terrorist organization, in a desperate attempt to prove its ability to carry out terrorist operations, detonated a car bomb with remote operation technology in front of the desert patrols camp of Liwa Tariq. Bin Ziyad Al-Moazaz in the Umm Al-Araneb area, pointing out that there were no casualties among the Libyan armed forces.
It is noteworthy that the reinforced Tariq bin Ziyad Brigade is one of the largest military brigades of the Libyan National Army and is based in the city of Benghazi and has a number of military barracks in the east and south of the country.
It is noteworthy that the aggression of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) against Libya in 2011 left chaos in this country in light of the proliferation of weapons and armed and terrorist militias.
