The Iraqi authorities announced today that the terrorist organization ISIS targeted a security point in the Akashat area of Anbar Governorate, in the west of the country.
Alsumaria News quoted an Iraqi security source as saying, "The terrorist organization ISIS launched an attack targeting a security point belonging to the 17th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization in the Akashat sector of the governorate," without providing further information.
Two members of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces were killed yesterday as a result of a terrorist attack by ISIS in Al-Aith Island, east of Salah Al-Din Governorate.
