The older of the two sisters, who has been on “Die Geissens” on RTL2 since 2011, posted on Instagram on Wednesday:
“Rest in peace my brother, my best friend.
i will miss you forever
You were so strong and you were always there for me.
I love you so much."
Sister Shania Geiss posted several pictures of the family dog Dex in a photo collage in her Instagram story.
There she wrote: "Words can't describe how much I miss u".
In English: Words cannot describe how much I miss you.
Mother Carmen Geiss also publicly mourned the death drama for the four-legged family member who died on April 20, 2022.

"Even though I knew it was going to happen, I didn't know how much it would hurt," Carmen Geiss wrote after the death of family dog Dex.
