This is what several elected Republicans are proposing to
the re-elected President of the Republic
, Emmanuel Macron.
Some announced it as soon as the results of the first round, others, a few minutes after the announcement of his re-election.
After three defeats in a row - in 2012, 2017 and 2022 - of their candidates in the presidential election, some therefore want a coalition of their party with the head of state in view of the legislative elections.

Nicolas Sarkozy
The former president waited a long time to break the silence.
He finally did so by announcing his intention to vote for Emmanuel Macron between the two rounds, believing that it was now necessary to
"get out of habits and partisan reflexes"

"loyalty to the values of the Republican right"

of the Republicans must lead them to "
respond to the call for Emmanuel Macron's rally for the presidential election".

The LR mayor of Meaux also very quickly suggested a rapprochement between LR and Emmanuel Macron.
The former minister of Nicolas Sarkozy pleads for a
"government pact"
of the Republicans with the President of the Republic.
