The Undersecretary of Prevention and Health Promotion of Mexico, Hugo López-Gatell, said on Tuesday that the country is closing the epidemic cycle and is transitioning to the endemic state.

The official assured that hospitalizations and mortality from covid-19 were reduced during the last three months.
