Within the activities of the “Young Seniors… Arts Bring Us Together” festival, organized by the Ministry of Education in various Syrian governorates, the Martyr Ali Youssef School in the city of Safita hosted today the central festival at the level of the city and its countryside.
The festival, which was held with the participation of talented children and adolescents from different schools in the region, included various activities of folklore, group and individual singing, sports panels, expressive dance performances, in addition to a group choir presentation on folk and heritage folklore.
In a statement to SANA, between the assistant director of education for basic education and the pioneers, Mamdouh Muhammad, that the goal of the festival is to discover talents and cases of individual excellence and creativity among students and motivate them to work within a team to develop the spirit of teamwork and create positive competition among them, pointing out that cases of creativity and excellence will be followed up, nurtured and taken care of according to a plan. Education.
In turn, the supervisor of the educational complex in Safita, Yasser Aamal, explained that the paragraphs and children are chosen according to their performance, talent, how they interact and their efficiency in implementing the paragraphs, to be evaluated by a specialized committee, indicating that today's paragraphs will be chosen to participate in the central festival that will be held in the Tartous Education Directorate.
Ali Muhammad, “Director of Ali Youssef School,” explained that the event is a message that our children are able to offer the best of their abilities, and that it is an opportunity to restore joy to schools and forget the pain of the war that we won thanks to the blood of the martyrs.
Music education instructor Nidal Hassan explained that the festival's paragraphs are a comprehensive artistic painting that took a great deal of effort and time in training, as it embodied the creativity and works of children.
Music education teacher Haitham Ali, who participated in a choir group singing, said that the children had positive motives to prepare for a distinguished work, and that there were many talented students who needed training and development of their abilities.
The two teachers, Hala Bilal and Hala Darwish, also participated in the folklore “Ghazaleh” paragraph, where they indicated that the children were selected according to the movement and the appropriate lengths for training.
At the end of the festival, an art exhibition was opened, which included paintings, drawings, “mosaic and silent nature collage”, handicrafts, creative skills, works from the environment, and models created by a group of students.
