After two years in which we celebrated the independence events in a limited format in most places in the country, this year we celebrated and in a big way.
On the eve of the 74th Independence Day of the State of Israel, male and female singers performed on city stages, there were performances of flags and lights, as well as fireworks.
Although some municipalities announced a few days ago that they would not be celebrating with fireworks performances out of consideration for battle shocks, quite a few fireworks could be seen in the country’s skies, albeit “in a limited way”.

The Jerusalem Municipality hung about 9,000 flags in a 42 km chain and at some of the main intersections the flags were designed in the shape of a Star of David. The municipality also illuminated central buildings in the colors of the national flag , Shiri Maimon, Zehava Ben, Tislam, Shimon Buskila, Carolina and Eden Elena.

Tens of thousands of Israelis took part in the independence celebrations in Rishon Lezion and in the streets.
The fireworks displays were limited to ten minutes.
In Rishon Lezion, six stages were operated with an emphasis on local artists.
In Ashdod, four artists' stages were set up, and one fireworks show on the beach, which was relatively short and without fireworks too large.

The Raanana Municipality marks Independence Day to mark the city's 100th anniversary celebrations, including a wide range of activities and performances that took place on the main stage in Raanana Park: a performance by Idan Habib, Shiri Maimon, Ran Danker and "Hatikva 6".
In addition, along Ahuza Street, a festive happening was held for parents and children with dozens of exhibits, and a special activities complex for children with special needs was established.

In Haifa, tens of thousands of Israelis celebrated on the main stages, with performances by Mercedes Band, Margie, Tuna, Eco and Sarit Hadad.
In addition, employees of the Coastal Department of the Haifa Municipality marked the 74th Independence Day of the State of Israel in an original way with an inscription in the sand.

In Tel Aviv, as mentioned, no fireworks were held this year.
But it is not apparent that this prevented people from celebrating.
