The sunny weather these days could attract many people to the zoo.
Do Corona rules still apply there?
The Nuremberg Zoo clarifies.
Nuremberg – The weather is apparently getting better after a lot of rain and severe weather warnings.
In parts of Bavaria up to 30 degrees are possible, the Sahara heat is coming.
For many, the beautiful weather is perhaps reason enough to take a trip to the zoo with the family.
But do the Corona rules still apply there?
Tiergarten Nuremberg: Corona rules are relaxed
The Nuremberg Zoo clarifies which rules currently apply - or not.
"Due to the Bavarian Infection Protection Measures Ordinance, the access regulations for visiting the zoo will be relaxed," it says.
As of May 4th, the following applies.

Abolition of the 2G regulation:
It is not necessary to submit a vaccination or recovery status
Mask requirement:
Wearing a medical mask (surgical mask or FFP2 mask) is mandatory in all buildings/interiors.
This does not apply to children up to their sixth birthday.

Finally, there is a note from Nuremberg Zoo for season ticket holders: Due to the closures in 2020 and 2021, the validity of the season tickets will be extended by the period(s) of the closure.
Offspring in Nuremberg Zoo: Redhead sheep have lambs
Only recently, the Nuremberg Zoo was happy about newly born hoofed animals - in addition to the endangered barbary sheep and redhead sheep, pygmy goats and Cameroon goats also had babies.
