Since Corona, many companies have been offering their employees flexible working and home office options.
But Elon Musk sees it a little differently: He continues to insist on the 40-hour week on site.
Those who don't show up will be dismissed.
California – During the Corona lockdown, most companies suddenly had to send all employees to work from home.
To protect against infection, the obligation to work at home was even introduced.
After its end, companies now often choose a more flexible regulation for office hours – but Tesla boss Elon Musk (all information about career, family and assets) thinks nothing of it, as a leaked e-mail now explains.

A screenshot of an email signed by Elon Musk with the subject "Remote work is no longer accepted" circulated on Twitter.
The document comes from Tuesday evening, two Tesla employees confirmed the authenticity of the email, according to “watson.de”, among other things.
Musk writes in clear terms that he does not tolerate working from home and fires people who do not show up for work.
“Anyone who wants to work remotely has to be in the office at least (and I mean at least) 40 hours a week or leave Tesla.
That's less than what we ask factory workers to do."
And this despite the fact that the number of cases in California is currently increasing again.

Asked on Twitter to comment on people who think "the commute to work is an antiquated concept," Musk replied, "They should pretend they work somewhere else."
