Ben Romano, a 43-year-old businessman, divorced in 2014 and decided to hire a caregiver to help him care for his three children.
Crystal, the 23-year-old caregiver chosen by Romano was simply "bad" in her role, but still managed to capture the heart of Ben, who decided to marry her despite the significant age gaps between them, the New York Post reported.
"I was desperate for a caregiver at the time. I worked and had full custody of the children and I needed someone to take care of the children," Ben explained. It's bad and she was terrible with the laundry. "

Ben talked to his daughter Francesca about the abilities of the new caregiver and decided she should leave.
"But Francesca cried and begged me not to fire her. She said that Crystal was really nice and that she made her feel like a little girl again. It definitely caught my attention. Crystal was not a good home caregiver, but I loved that she made my children happy." He said of his children, Frankie (now 22), Juliana (now 19 and Sal (now 17).
Instead of firing Crystal, Ben eventually gave her a wedding ring.The two fell in love and got married in 2017 even though Crystal was Only seven years older than his eldest daughter and 20 years younger than him, their relationship has gone viral on Tiktok, where they have over 300,000 followers, because of their uniqueness and "cuteness".

"We did not like each other when we first met. I hated a son to be honest," Crystal said, "but in time, we started talking and then he invited me and my son to be with them at Christmas. At first the two started dating secretly and kept it a secret from the kids, but eventually they went out with it and now they live happily ever after as a large family that includes Ben's three children and Crystal's son, 10-year-old Kashton.
