More than 1.8 million Venezuelans are in Colombian territory, according to figures from Migración Colombia and, despite the fact that the government of President Iván Duque worked to regularize the situation of hundreds of thousands of migrants in the country through the Protection Statute Temporary, there are certain questions about what the future of this migratory group will be before the arrival of the new president of the country: Gustavo Petro or Rodolfo Hernández.
