In turn, the head of the National Union of Syrian Students, Dareen Suleiman, explained that the opening of the center today came after it presented a set of student programs and services that are concerned with empowering students in the field of entrepreneurship and linking them to the labor market correctly and systematically, pointing out that this center will not be the only one at the level of Syrian universities, but will be Later, similar centers were opened in Aleppo, Tishreen and other universities in order to build students' abilities and skills in various fields and bridge the gap between educational curricula and labor market needs.

The center, which was developed and restructured according to its director, Dr. Reem Ramadan, provides free training courses for students in order to build their abilities and skills in the areas they desire, as well as the opportunity to attend workshops, lectures and activities that help them develop their individual and personal skills required for the labor market. It also provides practical training opportunities for students in Various “public and private” companies, in addition to introductory visits to companies.

Dr. Ramadan indicated that the center's business and scientific research incubator is the first of its kind at the university level, as it provides an encouraging environment to start establishing private projects not only by providing financial resources, but also by providing logistical support, mentors and specialists.

The “Entrepreneurship” program at the center provides training in entrepreneurship skills and an incubation period after training, as well as an initial funding grant for innovative projects, while the “Professional and Academic Advising” program helps the student to self-understand his capabilities in making the appropriate professional or academic decision, in addition to guiding him to research methods. Through work through networking with conferences, meetings, exhibitions, as well as social networking sites.

The opening of the center was attended by Dr. Abdul Latif Hanano, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Muhammad Osama Al-Jabban, President of Damascus University, Louay Al-Munajjid, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Young Entrepreneurs Association (SIA), members of the Executive Office of the National Union of Syrian Students and a number of representatives of banks and microfinance institutions.
