The UK Meteorological Service came out on the day with a stern warning in the face of the heat wave plaguing the UK.
The warning said the kingdom would suffer from an "abnormal heat" that would gradually rise in the coming days with a "potential danger to life". Difficult in public transportation and possible damage to infrastructure.
The big question is whether for the first time a temperature of 40 degrees or more will be measured in the UK, and according to the current forecast the computerized models show that this is a very realistic possibility.
At the end of July 2019, a temperature of 38.7 degrees was measured in Cambridge and it seems that the current heat wave, which originates in the hot air coming from Portugal and Spain, may make history.
If the record is indeed broken, it looks like the South East of England (including London) will suffer the most.
