Opinion | Ben Gvir No, Barghouti Yes? | Israel today

2022-07-11T20:49:23.596Z

Will and how will it deal with the Palestinian takeover of Area C, which is taking place in broad daylight and is no different from what is happening in Ukraine?

Gideon Saar is without a doubt one of the smartest elected officials in Israel.

But it's not just a compliment - it's mostly a heavy responsibility.

Precisely because he is smart, an elected Israeli public must take into account that he is sitting in the cockpit of an endangered nation and state.

Also because no nation and state is safe - as we learned in the Corona period, and mainly because - you know, the Jewish people, and the Middle East, and the Holocaust - I am not renewing anything for you.

So some questions to you, the wise Gideon Saar.

The people are looking forward to it:

First question: Ben Gvir no, and Barghouti yes?

Because you disqualify Itamar Ben Gvir, but you have already sat down with Meretz and will sit down again.

And Meretz is the "baby" of Jomes (Haim Oron), and Jomes, as I recall, befriends Marwan Barghouti, a convicted murderer, without shame at all.

Barghouti was actually convicted of the murder of five Israelis and is considered morally responsible for the murder of more than 20 other Israelis.

This is worse, in my opinion at least, than a picture of Goldstein in the living room, which, as is well known, has been removed.

Second question: How is it possible that you, through your new partner Ganz, are establishing a new village at the top of Mount Chumash?

Those who took part in the last march on Chumash were surprised to see a huge billboard with a picture of Barghouti, announcing the establishment of a new neighborhood.

What actually prevents its establishment is the Yeshiva Chumash.

The information is hidden from the public, but the truth is that years after Israel established the city of Rawabi, a 25-minute drive from Jerusalem, in a strategic location in the Palestinian Authority, close to Jewish localities and owned by the Qatari government (!), Gantz pledged to the High Court. The security was written: "About two weeks after the attack (in the Pentateuch), the political echelon was instructed ... to evacuate all components of the construction site ... it is possible to transfer only Palestinians and - until the evacuation is completed ... of a small group of Israelis associated with the yeshiva." Kiryat Barghouti will be established. Petitioners of the Chumash High Court, to which Gantz, Saar's new partner, agreed, are the left-wing organization Yesh Din, which deals with the apartheidization of Israel.

Thanks to this organization, Amnesty International issued an anti-Israel proclamation accusing Israel of apartheid and causing great damage to Israel in the world, as determined by the Institute for National Security Studies.

Third question: So what?

I'll illustrate the story: In the run-up to the 2009 elections, Rabbi Melchior came to the town of Othniel in the southern Hebron Hills and asked them to vote for him and his party at the time: The Green Movement Dimension.

He promised that his party, a social-state left, would help the elderly, soldiers, women, children, young couples, doctors and teachers.

One young man asked: What budgets would you hit to find the money for these purposes?

Melchior scolded the young man and said his question was inappropriate.

The young man enlisted shortly afterwards in the Talpiot program in the IDF, later winning the Air Force Commander Award and later also the Chief of the Armed Forces Award.

Melchior did not enter the Knesset then, nor later.

In the spirit of the question of that wise young man, I, the little one, will also ask Saar: How can you not sit with Ben Gvir, and not with Netanyahu?

A decision that disqualifies 45 seats out of 120 - with whom will you sit?

What does your dream government look like, and what are its guidelines;

Will and how will it deal with the Palestinian takeover of Area C, which is taking place in broad daylight and is no different from what is happening in Ukraine?

The same level of danger and the same illegality, because Israel is the sovereign on the ground by virtue of Article 80 of the UN Constitution.

I did not say, Gideon, that you have no answers.

But if you have - return them to the public ...
