The boy Issa Abu Alqian, who was injured in a fire about a month and a half ago by a girl in the Negev, died last night (Thursday) from his wounds.
12-year-old Abu Alqian, who went out to repair his cell phone while going to work with his father, tragically fell into the scene of a criminal incident.
The lab was set on fire while he was there and Issa was fatally injured by burns all over his body.
"The boy went to the store to repair his cell phone," his father, Najah Abu Alqian, said after the incident.
"Suddenly they called me and said he was burned inside the store. They told me to bring him to the hospital."
Najah said his son was burned 90 percent of his body.
"It's a wild west - when my child leaves the house, I do not believe he will return," he said at the time.
Najah also said that Issa was "a gifted boy, one of the brightest students in the class, just a cute and beautiful boy. A good boy."
"Appropriate penalties should be given
Abu Alqian continued to protest the extent of the violence.
"These are things that happen almost every day in the Arab sector," he explained, "I want them to find a solution to this, I want it to end with my child - it is a phenomenon in the entire Arab sector, not just in one neighborhood."
Finally, he called on the police and security forces to increase punishment for such cases.
"Today was a leap forward. My child's case, with the flammable material, is first of its kind, and he can open a door for anyone who wants to do such things," the father said, "therefore, appropriate punishments should be given, which will make people think whether to do such a thing at all. I define it as a Wild West - when my child leaves home, I do not believe he will return. "
Following the act, indictments were filed against three suspects.
The boy's death was determined at Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer.
