Munich – Ivana Trump is dead!
Former US President Donald Trump's first wife has died at the age of 73.
She is survived by children Donald Jr., Eric and Ivanka and several grandchildren.
According to an
ABC
report , an 911 call was received at 12:40 p.m. local time for a person in cardiac arrest, but emergency responders at the Manhattan apartment could only determine that she was dead.
According to the current state of knowledge, it is a natural death, but routine investigations have been initiated.
Ivana Trump dead: family condoles her with warm words
The family said: "It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Ivana Trump.
Our mother was an incredible woman – a force in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, a loving mother and a friend.”
And further: “Ivana Trump was a survivor.
She fled communism and embraced this country.
She taught her children courage and tenacity, compassion and determination.
She will be greatly missed by her mother, her three children and her ten grandchildren.” Eric Trump shared the message via Instagram.
Ivana Trump dead: Donald refers to "great and inspiring life"
Donald Trump wrote on his own Truth Social messaging service: "I am very saddened to announce to everyone who loved her dearly - and they are many - that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City.
She was a wonderful, beautiful and amazing woman who lived an amazing and inspiring life.”
The Republican added, "Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric.
She was as proud of her as we were all proud of her.
Rest in peace Ivana!”
Death of Ivana Trump: Married to Donald from 1977 to 1990
Born in Czechoslovakia, she married the US entrepreneur in 1977 – it was her second marriage.
Both divorced in 1990, two years earlier Ivana Trump had accepted US citizenship.

She was married twice more later in her life - from 1995 to 1997 to Italian businessman Riccardo Mazzuchelli and in 2008 for less than a year to Italian model Rossano Rubicondi, who died in 2021.
