"Using immunotherapy, many people are cured of advanced colorectal cancer," says Dr. Andrea Cercek, of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Cercek says that the results of her study have shown that by treating patients with immunotherapy, they have managed to eliminate their cancer without having to use chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
