An 83-year-old man drowned this morning (Wednesday) at Dor Beach.

Last Friday, a 70-year-old man drowned on Bat Galim beach in Haifa, and was evacuated by MDA medics and paramedics to Rambam Hospital in the city while undergoing resuscitation operations.

Last Wednesday, three people drowned during a day in which many others drowned.

The two, a 50-year-old Trad Atona survey and his 18-year-old daughter Dina, were rescued from the sea on an undeclared beach in Palmachim - but were later pronounced dead at the hospital to which they were evacuated.

Earlier that day, a 60-year-old man who drowned on Sironit Beach in Netanya died.

On the same day, three children and one girl were seriously injured after drowning on Delilah beach in Ashdod.

At the same time, a 5-year-old boy was fatally injured after drowning in the Kibbutzim River near the tracks in the Beit She'an Valley.

In another incident, MDA staff resuscitated an 18-year-old woman after she was pulled from the water in a pool in Ramat Aviv while attending a lifeguard course.
