Injury occurred in Yau Ma Tei.
At about 5:30 in the morning today (August 1), the police received multiple reports that a woman was lying on the side of the road at the junction of Nathan Road and Bowring Street, covered in blood. Fortunately, she was still awake at the time. An ambulance was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
It is understood that a cry for help was heard at the scene before the incident. The victim, who was in her 20s, was suspected of being chased and beheaded by several people and was stabbed twice in the back.
Police have classified the case as a "wounding person" and are investigating the incident.
