Today, the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, waved to leave his position in the event of continued chaos and conflict, pointing out that an investigation committee was formed to determine those responsible for placing weapons in the hands of those who opened fire on the demonstrators.

Al-Kazemi said in a speech he addressed to the Iraqi people today, “The pure Iraqi blood that fell yesterday sends a warning to every honest and authentic Iraqi that today we must face the bitter facts and that arms should be actually placed under the authority of the state, not a slogan and claim,” warning that continuing to stir up chaos, conflict and dispute. Fighting and not listening to the voice of reason will lead me to take my moral and patriotic steps to announce the vacancy of the position in a timely manner according to Article 81 of the Constitution and hold them accountable before the Iraqis and before the history of our country.

Al-Kazemi stressed that on the political level, he worked to launch a national dialogue between the various political forces to help them reach a satisfactory solution for all, but the dialogue requires that everyone concede and not that the political escalation continues and moves to opening bullets and taking the lives of Iraqis.

Al-Kazemi stressed, "Iraq is greater than everyone, and there is no person, party or force more important than Iraq and Iraq's interests."

Al-Kazemi expressed his regret at the state of the political conflict and thanked the security forces for refusing to line up except with the homeland and refusing to place the barrel of guns in front of the Iraqis' chest, no matter how irritated they are.

Al-Kazemi revealed the formation of an investigation committee to determine those responsible for placing weapons in the hands of those who opened fire on the demonstrators and shed blood despite the strict directives issued by the government to prevent the use of bullets, pointing out also that it is necessary to determine who opened fire, rockets and mortars on the government area throughout the night.
