Denouncing "war propaganda through fear" on the part of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Ségolène Royal notably highlighted

Ségolène Royal persists and signs.

The former socialist candidate for the 2007 presidential election questioned war crimes in Ukraine on BFMTV, saying it was "propaganda" by Volodymyr Zelensky.

Denouncing "war propaganda through fear" on the part of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Ségolène Royal notably questioned the reality of "bombed maternity" in south-eastern Ukraine in March.

According to her, "you can imagine that if there was the slightest victim, the slightest baby with blood, in the age of mobile phones we would have had them (the images)...".

And Volodymyr Zelensky “used that” to disrupt the peace process.

The former minister also questioned the Boutcha massacre or "the story of child rape for seven hours under the eyes of the parents".

"It's monstrous to go out and spread stuff like that just to disrupt the peace process," she said.

In early August, Ségolène Royal had already sparked controversy with a tweet, in which she displayed her skepticism.

“The NGOs are also still waiting for proof of the alleged horrors, places and names of the victims.

(…) Where ?

When ?

Who ?

The NGOs are also still awaiting proof of the alleged horrors, places and names of the victims.

Horrors that led to more war and stopped any peace process: pregnant women and babies bombarded, torture of prisoners, child victims of rape: Where?

When?

Who?

Olivier Faure speaks of "propaganda"

On the BFMTV set, she went further, angering PS First Secretary Olivier Faure.

“Peace in Ukraine is not made impossible by the victims of the invasion, but by Putin's will to conquer!

“, he reacted Thursday evening on Twitter.

“War crimes are documented, denying it is an insult to the murdered, the raped, the tortured!

To say otherwise is propaganda!

".

In another tweet, the leader of the Socialists adds: “She says that the denunciation of the crimes (which she doubts) has one object: to hinder the peace process.

The attacked become the warmongers.

Until proven otherwise, the Ukrainians are the resisters in a war they did not choose,” he criticized.

She doesn't just say that.

Alas.

She says that the denunciation of crimes (which she doubts) has a purpose: to hinder the peace process.

The attacked become the warmongers 🙃.

Until proven otherwise, the Ukrainians are the resistance fighters in a war they did not choose.

MEP Raphaël Glucksmann (Public Square), also denounced a “shipwreck.
