King Charles III
has been the new British monarch since the death of his mother.
He now gave his title "Prince of Wales" - to his son and heir to the throne William.
LONDON - After the death of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II, the cards are being reshuffled in terms of titles in the royal family.
While with the death of the Queen her son Charles was automatically declared the new King by the Prince, he has now appointed his son and heir to the throne William, who unfortunately came too late to the Queen, as the new Prince of Wales.

In his first televised address to the nation on Friday night, King Charles III said it was a privilege for him to hold the title.
He also addressed his son William: "I am proud to be able to give him the title 'Prince of Wales'." He is certain that William (40) and his wife Kate (40) will continue to inspire and inspire British society lead national debates.
