During the early hours of Saturday, an accident was recorded on the Ciudad Victoria-Monterrey highway in Mexico, where a bus from the Castañeda Tours company collided with the trailer of a truck, leaving at least 18 people dead, according to the Tamaulipas prosecutor's office.
According to local media, the accident occurred at kilometer 67 of the highway and the transport unit was traveling from Huejutla, in the state of Hidalgo, to Monterrey, Nuevo León.

Local media warn that vehicular circulation will remain closed until noon today because prosecutors are in the area carrying out the pertinent investigations, removing the bodies and removing the remains of the vehicles involved in the accident.
