38 minutes of silence

The ceremonial procession will last 38 minutes, between Buckingham Palace and Westminster Hall.

The king, his sons, members of the royal family and high officials of the royal household will walk slowly, in silence and without music, behind the cannon barrel on which the coffin will have been placed.

Active members of the family - with the exception of Prince Harry and Prince Andrew, will wear the ceremonial uniform.

All along the route, which was announced in the British press, the population will be able to meditate, with dignity.
