Attempted manslaughter: Truck driver found with stab wounds at motorway rest area

Was it a fight between truck drivers?
A man was found seriously injured in his driver's cab at the Vaterstetten-Ost motorway parking lot.
The police are investigating attempted murder.
Vaterstetten - On the evening of Friday, October 7th, a professional driver was found seriously injured in his driver's cab.
A suspect was arrested near the scene of the crime.
The police announced this a day later.
54-year-old Romanian found with stab wound
At around 9:30 p.m., the rescue workers were informed of an injured driver who was lying in the driver's cab of his truck on the A99 motorway at the Vaterstetten-Ost car park.
In fact, the emergency services were able to find a 54-year-old Romanian citizen who had apparently been stabbed.
He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The police forces were alerted by witnesses to a man armed with a piercing tool in the immediate vicinity of the crime scene.
The officers overpowered him and arrested him.
Motive so far unclear: Kripo determined
The Erding criminal police took over the investigation into the course of the crime and the previously unclear motive that night.
At the request of the responsible Munich II public prosecutor's office, an arrest warrant was issued today against the arrested man, a 50-year-old Romanian, on suspicion of attempted manslaughter.
He was transferred to a detention center.
