Air bomb in Espenhain defused

A World War II bomb found during construction work in Espenhain (Leipzig district) has been defused.
This was announced by the police in the evening via Twitter.
All bans have been lifted.
The 250-kilogram British-made explosive device was found in the morning.
A restricted area of 800 meters was set up around the site.
Espenhain - It mainly contained companies that were cleared in the afternoon, it is said.
During the defusing, the nearby Autobahn 72 was also briefly closed.
