CNN-Turk quoted Ragai Şakir, mayor of Amasra, as saying in a statement today: "Five people were trapped at a depth of 350 meters and 44 other people in another location at a depth of 300 meters underground in the mine located in the town of Amasra overlooking the Black Sea."
