About fifty workers are stranded after an explosion in a coal mine in Amasra, in northwestern Turkey, said the governor of the city, quoted Friday evening September 14 by the Turkish media.
Eight workers were able to get out on their own, but 49 were trapped inside following the explosion which occurred for an as yet unknown reason, the governor added.
