A 25-year-old man was slightly injured this evening (Friday) in a shooting attack in Beit El.
IDF soldiers operating in the area shot at the terrorist and killed him. The security forces are searching for additional suspects. According to estimates, another terrorist fled after the shooting. The young man who was injured was taken to the Shaarei Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem. Following the incident, the residents of the settlement were instructed to shut themselves in their homes
. Emergency at the MDA, Shanir Baruchi, who lives in the settlement, said: "I heard the sounds of gunfire and at the same time I received a report from the MDA hotline about the wounded person who was just a few houses away from me.
He was sitting in the sukkah in the yard fully conscious and suffered an injury to his upper body.
We gave him medical treatment that included dressing and stopping the bleeding and evacuated him in an MDA ambulance in a light and stable condition for further treatment at the hospital."
