A 25-year-old man was wounded by a gunshot, while he was sitting in the sukkah in the yard of his house in Beit El.
MDA medics gave him medical treatment and evacuated him to Shaare Zedek Hospital, a 25-year-old man in a minor condition, with a penetrating injury.
The circumstances of the incident are being investigated by the security forces.
IDF soldiers neutralized the terrorist who fired at the yard, and are scanning the area for additional suspects. As part of the scans, several backpacks were located near the neutralized terrorist.
An MDA medic who lives in the settlement said: "I heard the sounds of gunfire and at the same time I received a report from the MDA center about the wounded man who was just a few houses away from me. We gave him medical treatment that included dressing and stopping the bleeding and evacuated him In the MDA ambulance in a light and stable condition for further treatment at the hospital."
