The director of Salhab Clinic, Dr. Iyad Zina, said in a statement to SANA reporter that preparations have been made to implement the campaign in the governorate since the beginning of this month by writing down the names of those who wish to conduct examinations during this period, which include drawing blood for men with prostate patients, taking a uterine smear and taking a mammogram for women, and with The arrival of the mobile medical cart equipped with trained staff and a mammograph device. Patients were received for taking smears and imaging within it.

Dr. Zina explained that the turnout is high until today, and that the clinic continues to serve all patients throughout the days of the campaign, which continues in the region until the 22nd of October.

The supervisor of registration of names and forms stated to Jane Dohan that as soon as the auditor arrives, a form is filled out for him to go to the cart to undergo mammography and perform the necessary examinations.

In her turn, nurse Kholoud Adla pointed to the good turnout of patients, especially women, noting that women who underwent examinations, mammography and echocardiography, in the event of any suspected medical condition, are evaluated and sent to the nearest hospital.

Ms. Abeer Ibrahim is a breast cancer patient who discovered the disease during the national campaigns carried out to investigate it in Al-Suqaylabiyah Hospital in 2019, considering that the discovery of the disease in its early stages is an important step that contributed to raising the rate of her recovery from it, and this is what happened with both women, Rehab Alloush and Shadia Hamidush, who discovered the disease During a similar campaign for early detection of breast cancer in 2018, they continued with examination and treatment, noting the role and importance of these campaigns by raising health awareness for all, and immunizing citizens from this disease, especially since before the discovery of their disease, they did not feel any symptoms or pain that turned out to be infected, and Rehab and Shadia called all women And mothers to join the campaign and take the initiative to conduct tests, in the interest of their safety and the safety of their children.

The national campaign to investigate cancer was launched in Hama on the 19th of last September, and it will continue until the 9th of next November.
