This is what Mexican women think about insecurity in the country: "You no longer know if you are going to return home"

"There is a lot of insecurity and fear is present in everyone, especially being a woman," says a Mexico City resident regarding the results of the most recent National Urban Public Security Survey.

The report, carried out by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi), shows that the percentage of women who said they felt insecure in the city where they live (70.5%) is higher than the percentage of men (57.2%) .
