Nisreen, 40, from the village of Harisun in Baniyas, suffers from the disability conditions that did not prevent her from continuing her life and establishing her own small business for the manufacture of women's bags, which turned into a source of income that secures her dream job.
Nisreen, who was born with a hereditary disease “four limb disorders” or what is known as stunted stature, finished her secondary studies in “female arts” and stayed at home for a long time because she was unable to work in areas that were not suitable for her due to the difficulty of movement and movement, to realize later that she had to Possessing will and hope, and rejecting helplessness and failure, she started making women’s bags, defying the circumstances surrounding her, and benefiting from what she had learned from the basic principles of sewing through her study of feminist arts, and her insistence on proving herself and developing her abilities, with the support of her family and friends.
Nisreen manufactures bags of different sizes and colors, taking advantage of the environment or the remnants of fabrics that she weaves for long hours in her home, tirelessly, with a beautiful artistic sense and creativity. It considers it a glimmer of hope and another rebirth of life through which it works to sell its products at reasonable prices to support itself, despite the difficulties it faces in transportation and the high cost of materials.
Nisreen concluded her speech by saying: "My insistence on challenging society's negative view of people with disabilities was a sufficient reason to develop myself, and any person must start from himself, and every person who was not created in vain on the face of the earth must not fail himself and work for himself, his family and his country."
