The poems and stories of the participants in the Al-Assi Literary Forum added a sparkle of creativity to the evening, which was hosted by the Writers Union branch in Homs, and was attended by an audience of intellectuals and writers.

The evening, which is held on the last Wednesday of each month, began with the poet Ghassan Dalloul with a bouquet of patriotic and lyrical poems that came under the titles (Stand for the Martyr), (Above the Pleiades) and (Do not be afraid). free.

With poems that express strong feelings about the homeland, life and love, the poet Afaf Al-Khalil participated, and her poems were decorated with the titles (The place is still in you), (Mother Arabism) and (To a martyr).

The poet Abdel Haseeb Moussalli had a distinguished participation in sentimental poems in which the feelings of a person who went through life experiences and drew lessons from them.

With prose poetic texts colored with sentimental and symbolic characters capable of a wide culture, the poet Hanan Rostom had a beautiful participation through her texts that came under the titles (Elegy of an Emigrant) and a poem (A New Reading Within Your Face) in which a feminine tendency is overflowing with tender feelings.

The evening ended with a story, Sukoon Shaheen, with a social story that relied on the element of suspense.
