Three years ago, a deadly fire broke out in Fung Shing Court, Shatin, and the female anchor of "100 Hair", whose stage name was Yin Zhitong, was killed in the fire.
Her family filed a petition in the High Court yesterday (26th), claiming compensation from the property management and the owners' corporation, but the amount of the claim was not specified in the petition.
The plaintiff is Chen Shili, the estate representative of the deceased Zeng Yingxin, and the defendants are Taixing Engineering Services Co., Ltd., Fucheng Property Management Co., Ltd., the owners corporation of Fung Shing Court, and the Fire Services Department represented by the Department of Justice.
The plaintiff filed a complaint alleging that Zeng Yingxin died in an accident that occurred at Fusheng Court in Fengsheng Court on November 7, 2019.
The plaintiff alleges that Zeng Yingxin died due to the defendant's negligence, breach of the general duty of care and statutory duty, and therefore filed a claim for compensation.
