Opposition leader and Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu voted at the ballot box in Jerusalem.

"I'm a little worried, but I hope we end the day with a smile," he told reporters.

The Minister of Defense, the chairman of the state camp, Benny Gantz, voted at the ballot box in Rosh Ha'Ain. "These elections are also a wake-up call for democracy.

I call on all citizens of the State of Israel to exercise their right to vote respectfully while respecting others.

We don't want any more incitement.

We don't want any more division.

We want more unity, more security, more reconciliation among the people, more ability to accept each other," he said, "I call on everyone to go vote and let us meet in joy and less in elections."

Interior Minister and Jewish Home Chairman Ayelet Shaked voted at the polling station in Tel Aviv this morning.

In order to encourage voting and help those who live far from the polling station where they are registered, the Knesset decided that many public transportation trips will be free, starting on election night at 8:00 p.m. until all lines run out on election day itself.

The lines included in the free travel arrangement are intercity lines within a range of more than 15 kilometers, and all the train lines in Israel.

On the relevant buses, there is no need to identify yourself in any way and you can board them freely, and on the trains, you must issue a dedicated travel ticket at the ticket offices or machines.

Citizens whose physical condition does not allow them to vote in the polling station where they are registered are entitled to vote in one of the 2,979 polling stations that have been defined as "specially accessible".

There is no obligation to present a disabled certificate, but those who do not present it will be required to sign a statement stating that they are limited in mobility.

Making a false statement is a felony.
