Melissa Naschenweng's grandfather Andreas died in 2021 - a painful loss for the pop singer.
But even after his death he will watch over the 32-year-old, she is sure.
Villach – For Melissa Naschenweng (32), the dream of a great hit career is within reach: the Austrian clears the charts properly, is also regularly on stage in Florian Silbereisen's (41) Saturday evening shows and will be the next Helene Fischer (38) traded.
The 32-year-old also owes her success to her grandfather Andreas († 92), who died in 2021 and who always encouraged her.
But even after his death, he is at his granddaughter's side, she firmly believes.

People stick together there: Grandpa Andreas also helped Melissa Naschenweng out when she had to finance her first CD.
"In return, he made me promise that I would never forget where I came from.

But as painful as the farewell was, it didn't seem final, because the 32-year-old is still watching over her - after all, she experienced an inexplicable moment after Grandpa Andreas' death:
"I stood on his deathbed and said: 'Grandpa, give me a sign!'
All of a sudden the TV turned on by itself and it was a still from a YouTube video of me pointing my finger up.”

Melissa Naschenweng is now receiving support from beyond: “He continues to pull the strings for me up there, just as he did when he was alive.
Because since grandpa died, I was always in the right place at the right time and my career has made another leap forward." Her grandfather's soul is immortal, according to the pop singer - that's why she "never has an emptiness after his death felt".
The hit world, however, could soon face a painful loss: Tony Marshall (84) is seriously ill, even close friends can no longer reach him.
